We want our customers, and anyone searching for us, to be able to tell quickly whether they are dealing with us. This note explains a name similarity we have become aware of, and how to be sure you are dealing with the genuine Credicorp and Credit Corp brands.
Who we are
CM Beyer Limited (company number 17009212) is the registered proprietor of the Creditcorp trade mark, and publishes this notice on behalf of the Credicorp and Credit Corp brands. Those brands are owned by CM Beyer Limited together with Credicorp Limited (company number 16093826), the UK business lender. Between us we hold two United Kingdom registered trade marks: UK00004156742 for the Credicorp mark, held by Credicorp Limited, and UK00004379570 for the Creditcorp mark, held by CM Beyer Limited. Both marks are registered and in force. These are our brands, and we protect them.
Our official websites
The genuine Credicorp and Credit Corp brands operate only from these websites:
- credicorp.co.uk
- creditcorp.co.uk
- creditcorpgroup.co.uk
- creditcorponline.co.uk
- creditcorporation.co.uk
Any other website, business, application or account using the name Credicorp or Credit Corp is not us, and is not the genuine Credicorp or Credit Corp. If you are not on one of the addresses above, you are not on one of our sites.
What has happened
We have become aware that a separate company is operating under a name similar to our registered brand, which can lead people to think the two are connected when they are not.
The business concerned is Credit Corp Financial Services (UK) Limited (company number 10480946), which trades under the name “Wallet Wizard” at walletwizard.co.uk. That business is separate and unconnected: it is not part of our group, is not connected with, endorsed by or authorised by us, and we do not operate it or the Wallet Wizard website. If you have dealt with that business, you have not dealt with us.
What we are doing about it
We take the protection of our brands seriously. We have formal steps in progress to protect our registered trade marks and to require that the confusingly similar company name is changed. This work is underway as at 26 July 2026. We are not able to comment further while that is ongoing, and we will update this page as the position develops.
How to be sure you are dealing with us
Whoever you are thinking of borrowing from, it is always worth taking a moment to check who they are before you share personal or financial details or agree to anything. To be sure it is us:
- Our companies are Credicorp Limited (16093826) and CM Beyer Limited (17009212). You can check any lender’s registered company name and number free of charge at Companies House.
- You can verify any regulated lender, and the contact details it should be using, on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Register. A reference number on its own is not proof — check that the full details match.
- “Wallet Wizard” and Credit Corp Financial Services (UK) Limited (10480946) are not us. A lender trading under that name or number is the separate business described above.
- If you were looking for us, or you think you may have been confused about who you are dealing with, contact us directly at legal@credicorp.co.uk and we will confirm.
